For GATE Electronics and Communication Engineering(EC) Electrical Engineering (EE) Instrumentation Engineering (IN) Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) Mechanical Engineering (ME) Civil Engineering (CE) Production & Industrial Engineering (PI) Long term batches(5 to 7 months), Summer crash batches ( 1.5 to 2 months), winter crash batches( 1.5 to 2 months) and week-end batches(6 to 7 months) are available. The student has to choose any one of the above batch depending upon his/her convenience. The further details of each of the above batches are as follows. Long term Batches ( For EC, EE, IN, CS, ME, CE, PI). These batches commence from May 3rd week onwards, generally. Every Sunday a fresh long term batch starts. In this category, Morning batches, Evening batches and Day batches are available with class timings as below. Morning Batches: Classes will be held daily from about 6 AM to 8 AM. However, on all Sundays and public holidays extra classes will also be held for 4 to 8 hours. The approximate total duration of the programme is 5 to 7 months. Evening Batches: Classes will be held daily from about 6 PM to 8 PM.
