RoboMania-2013 A Milestone in Mobile Robotics Education in india. It is
an Initiative by RoboNext in association with Shaastra-2013 IIT-Madras.
It is a Workshop series cum Hunt for india;s Super RoboGenius. This Year
RoboMania-2013 will held at different Zonal Centers in all over India.
This is a 3 Stage Event as described below:
Stage 1 (WORKSHOP ROUND):
- A Robotics workshop will be held at different Zonal centers in all over India. The details of the Zonal centers and Workshop contents is available on this website.
- All the participants who wants to participate in RoboMania-2013 are required to attend the workshops at any Zonal Center.
- The workshop fee is included in the Registration Charges.
- During the workshop 'Robot Kits' will be provided by Sponsors of this event to a Group of 4-5 Participant at free of Cost.
- The Duration of the Robotics Workshop will be of 2 Days.
- The Workshop will be delivered by RoboNext.
Stage 2 (ZONAL COMPETITION ROUND):
- Just after the workshop a Mega Competition Prelims rounds of RoboMania-2013 will be held.
- Winners will be awarded by Certificate of Merit in association with Shaastra-2013.
Stage 3 Final ROUND at IIT-Madras:
- All the zonal winners will Participate in final Rounds at IIT-Madras during Shaastra-2013.
- Top 3 Teams will be awarded as winners of the championships & will also be awarded the respective prizes.
Eligibility:
Participants having a valid ID card of their respective educational institutions are eligible for the RoboMania- 2013.
2. Team Specifications: A
team may consist of a maximum of 5 members. A minimum of 4 members per
team is recommended. Participants from different colleges may form a
team.
3. Pre Requisites: There
are no pre requisites for it. During the Workshop round the basic
concepts will be taught along with topics of the workshop.
4. Registration Fee: The
Registration Charges are Rs 1290/- Per Participant i.e (Rs 5160/- for a
team of 4 member and Rs 6450/- for a team of 5 members). This includes
the cost workshop+Robo kit+Certification by RoboMania-2013 In
association with Shaastra-2013 IIT-Madras.

Certificate of Participation:
Certificate of Partcipation of 'Robomania-2013 Zonal Rounds' will be provided to all the Participants by Shaastra-2013 IIT-Madras.
Certificate of Merit:
'Certificate of Merit' will be provided to all the winners of Zonal Centers by RoboMania-2013
Certificate of Excellence:
'Certificate of Excellence' will be provided to The Winning Team of Final Round of RoboMania-2013 which is to be held at I IT-Madras during Shaastra-2013.
